Valentine's Day fun

We had a fun day of dancing, chocolate eating and mor dancing!!! They deserved a break after their great work this week!! We missed the grade fours though!!

Scientist in the school

What a fun time learning about strong and stable structures.  We also learned about the different types of bridges and how materials can be made stronger by layering or by trussing.  Parents.. can you guys the strongest shape?? Your child knows the answer!  Thank you to all the parents and grandma for coming to help!

Structural engineer visits!

We were lucky to have Mackenzie's mom come and teach us about engineering!  She expertly taught us how buildings are created and what structured need to be strong and stable!  Thank you so much for coming!
